It looks like you are talking about 'scheduling task'(ex:- starting an 
instance, stopping an instance etc.) for the GCP instance. If that's the 
scenario(correct me, if I am wrong), you can make use of CLI (gcloud 
<https://cloud.google.com/sdk/gcloud/reference/compute/instances/start> 
commands) or Google Compute Engine API 
<https://cloud.google.com/compute/docs/reference/rest/v1/instances/start> 
in your own script to achieve this. I have found similar discussions here

same community and 'Stack Overflow' 
<https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42379877/need-help-scheduling-my-compute-engine-to-start-at-a-certain-time>
