I should note that we only support Google Cloud Tools for Visual Studio on Windows at the moment. So you may raise a feature request via the Issue Tracker <https://cloud.google.com/support/docs/issue-trackers> so that the Cloud Tools product team may evaluate it, however there is no ETA or guarantee of implementation.
