As noted in the documentation <https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/python3/python-differences#users>, You may use any HTTP-based authentication mechanism, such as Google Identity Platform <https://cloud.google.com/iam/> or Firebase Authentication <https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/> as the Users service is not available in Python 3.
