Okay, that's hilarious. Users: Can we send email? Google: Nah. Sending email is too hard. You have to use a 3rd party for that. Users: Aren't you the same company that makes gmail, the most popular email service on the planet? Google: Yeah. What's your point? Users: Never mind. Can we search for text in our databases? Google: Nah. Search is too hard. You have to use a 3rd party for that. Users: Wait. Is this the same google that is literally the largest search provider on the planet? Google: Yeah, that's us. Users: But search is too hard to provide in your cloud services platform. Google: Right. You can do a feature request for it. Users: Do you implement features we request? Google: Generally, no. But we do take away features like mail and search, and then you can request that we give them back. Users: Which you will never do. Google: Correct.
