The following app.yaml file should work with Gatsby using the handlers like
handlers:
- url: /
static_files: public/index.html
upload: public/index.html
- url: /((.*\/)*[^\/]+\.[^\/]+)$
static_files: public/\1
upload: public/.*
- url: /(.*)$
static_files: public/\1/index.html
upload: public/.*/index.html
I also found this article[1] which might be helpful for your scenario. You
can also check our documentation[2] for app.yaml elements which might be a
great way to start resolving the error.
If you still have issues, I would suggest to please do open a case with us
using [3] with all the information and we will look into it deeply.
