Hi,

This is more a question about your mail client program.  If your mail
client allows you to specify the "From:" address, then you can do
this.

In setting up the POP3/IMAP and SMTP accounts on your mail client,
specify your primary Google Apps email address (your username +
domain) and password, since those are the credentials you can
authenticate with.

And then specify a different "From:" address.  Depending on your mail
client, you may need to specify separate accounts, one for each
"From:" address.
