Hi,

The SSO sample code has the logic to communicate with Google Apps.
Since you do not need this, a simpler web application could be used to
process the sign in form for your website.

HTTP/SSL also has its own authentication mechanisms which most
browsers and servers support.  It's not as flexible as a custom sign
in form, but it's less coding.
