Hi, It would be very convenient if I could get the following behavior working in my web app: when somebody clicks on a particular link, I assign them permission to see a certain piece of content that belongs to somebody else (somebody who wants this to happen, of course). Unfortunately, from what I understand, it appears that I can programmatically assign permission over a piece of content ONLY if I log in as the owner of that content, but then, it follows that we can never get the desired behavior to work (since for it to make sense, the web application user is logged in as him/herself, and we want to give him/her permission to somebody else's content). Am I correct? (I hope not :-)) In other words, given current apis and restrictions, is there any way to achieve the desired behavior? (e.g. I assume ClientLogin is out of the question here, right?) Thanks in advance, -Patricia Patricia Goldweic [EMAIL PROTECTED]
