Hi Ankur, In case you have not seen this, here is a document describing how Google SSO works:
http://code.google.com/apis/apps/sso/saml_reference_implementation.html Basically, Google SSO is based on SAML 2.0. We will delegate authentication to your system (i.e. students/faculties will use your school's username/password) for all web-based services. However, users will still need to use their Google password for client-based services like IMAP, Google Chat, etc. Thanks, --Tony On Jan 20, 9:27 am, Ankur <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi,we are working for implementing Google Apps in our college, and have > one query. We want the google apps login page on the homepage of the > domain, how is it possible. We do know about SSO but are a bit confused > about it's working, does it even fetches the username and password > which we have created in the google apps control panel or just from > the database of our college. > > Please reply ASAP > > Thanks > Ankur --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Apps APIs" group.
