Thanks for letting us know - I'm looking into the potential cause of these 
500 status messages. As you mentioned, over the weekend we did have some 
service outages <http://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en> with the Apps Admin 
CPanel and in some cases the User Profiles API.

At this point, it looks like the errors are very intermittent, so as usual I 
would recommend catching these exceptions and then retrying.
