The client uses OpenText's FirstClass collaboration system ... one of the
central concepts of the software is the notion of a 'conference.' The
closest analog I can think of is a shared mailbox or a email list alias
which maintains an archive of the content. (So that if a new user is added
to the conference, they have access to all the previous messages posted in
the past)

As an example: a message might be addressed to
some_conference(at)example.org, which we might represent as a Google Group
some_conference(at)gapps.example.org. Would the email migration API be an
appropriate avenue to import content? If not, are there other
possibilities?

Thanks!
