Hi Jim,

I'm not entirely sure how the geocoder works with the API,
but I assume it is using some variation of Google Maps
(which produces results):
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Sault+Sainte+Marie&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=52.285401,95.361328&ie=UTF8&z=13

To be completely safe, I would use either one of the
variations that work or latitude/longitude pairs.
