For future reference : To decrease the amount of time your items stays int he "Published... searchable soon" state, you could publish your items using the API and use the <gm:publishing_priority> tag and set it to high. The documentation references can be found here : http://code.google.com/apis/base/starting-out.html#PubPriority Note that Google base does not guarantee any specific delay within which your items will be searchable.
