Hi Rob, Could you tell us to which URL you are posting your items? You should post your new items to http://www.google.com/base/feeds/items If you are trying to insert a new item to a specific item URL (i.e. http://www.google.com/base/feeds/items/itemID) we do not guarantee the behavior. Thos URL should only be used to Update items.
