I'm 99% sure it's not a problem our end. Trying with Firefox 2, our site transfers to the AuthSubRequest page with the sign in prompt. I've entered the GMail credentials, and then clicked "sign in". It then moves to the page where one can grant or deny access, and I've tried denying it and although our code doesn't handle that gracefully (yet), it does print an error and doesn't redirect back to Google.
In Opera though, it goes through our initial pages exactly the same as for Firefox and gets to Google's AuthSubRequest page. Signing in with this browser and exactly the same account and credentials flicks the page away from this one for a small fraction of a second before always returning to this sign in page. The page it flicks to is https://www.google.com/accounts/CheckCookie . I've made sure that the cookie permissions in Opera are as generous as they can be (always accept), but it hasn't helped. Entering an incorrect password behaves as one would expect: the sign in page is presented again with an error message. Thanks. Richard.
