Sorry if this is a double post... the first doesn't seem to have sent through e-mail...
First here's a little history: 1) We initially started with Google by uploading an entire XML feed via FTP of our products. 2) Our unique id was and has remained the unique Product ID from our system 3) We recently started using the API to try to avoid a delay in update to pricing on a small number of products with the lag in feed updates (weekly) as we alter things throughout the week. 4) When we did that we noticed that our ratings fell from the API submitted items as did a few other important features. At this point we contacted support quite a few times with the response that they know about the issue and are working on it. 5) We grab the unique id from Google when we submit via the API and store it with the product. 6) Re-uploading the feed now seems to randomly update (or not update) products that were previously uploaded with the API... SO... My question becomes, when we re-upload our FTP feed (which we still do weekly) should I start using the unique id we get from the API submission instead of our original id? Thanks in advance!
