Thanks for that. Yes, personally I would use more exact locations;
however, I'm just doing some usability testing at the moment from an
average user's perspective. I'm sure there are many random surfers out
there who would input London as a location; after all, it's a big
place. The concern is that if too big a radius is set capturing parts
of Essex, Herts and Sussex, the user will think, "why are these
locations coming up, I only typed in London?"

What would you recommend? I want to make the user experience as easy
as possible. Should I just hard code a sensible radius and have done
with it?
