I am trying to figure out if I can get the same (or similar) search results by doing a search using google base data API and a direct search using google.com/products interface. I did a search for iphone and google's interface returns iphone/ipod in first few results however the api results in some accesories.
I was wondering if this is very typical or I am not structuring my query right. Here is what results of my query would look like: http://www.google.com/base/feeds/snippets?q=iphone&bq=[item%20type:products] here is what results from google product search via their interface looks like: http://www.google.com/products?q=iphone&hl=en&aq=f I tried using - accessory, and that did filter some products but still iphone did not come in the results set. I would appreciate if someone can let me know what I am doing wrong.
