the current usage limit is described as "The Google Base data API
supports up to approximately 5 queries per second, per user."
my question is: the "user" is being a client (i.e. browser or
application), or a developer (i.e. developer key).
i'm working on a mobile app which would use google base for the
product search.
so, the question is: if api calls are made directly from individual
devices (such as android phone/iphone/ipad/etc), but all of these
calls are using my developer key, would all the potential traffic,
originated from a number of client devices, be subject of "5 per
second" against my developer key, or the "5 per second" limit is only
applied to calls coming from a single device?
thank you in advance for the clarification...
