I deleted some items at least a week ago using the dashboard. They are still showing up in the search. They have an expiry date for next month. This leads me to the conclusion that items deleted still remain in the search until their expiry date, or, there is a bug in how Google Base indexes items deleted using the dashboard. I have not tried deleting the item using the API, so I will need to check whether this problem is still present if done using the API.
