I was misled by firefox aurora, which has a substring like
"Gecko/20130430" in the useragent.
this substring is always "Gecko/20100101" in firefox beta and release,
so emitting useragent doesn't give any useful info for them. (in
particular, Firefox 20.0 and 20.0.1 have identical version strings and
useragent strings)
