Comment #12 on issue 1129 by [email protected]: js that performs user
actions like submit() or click()
http://code.google.com/p/google-caja/issues/detail?id=1129
Right, but if I'm making a host page and I attach an onclick listener to
body and I put a guest inside that body without an iframe, I expect to be
able to intercept clicks to the guest. It would be odd if I couldn't.
Agreed, and that's what happens now.
Whether I can also intercept the guest calling click() is more debatable,
but I think it's consistent to allow that.
Whereas I claim that it is consistent (with our createEvent handling) to
not allow it, or rather to not make it the *default* that naïve host event
listeners see non-user events.
Let's let this lie and when it comes up again we can open a new issue and
figure out the needed semantics.
