Thanks for the background Mark. Accidental DoS is indeed more important for me. There is currently a design problem with my platform such that a user's app is automatically run at the same time that they can begin editing it, so an infinite loop can effectively lock them out from correcting the bug in their code. I'll just have to have something like a manual "start application" button in place if I see that it's becoming a problem too large to address on a case-by-case basis.
