I'm unable to reproduce that either.
I grabbed acorn.js from here
https://github.com/marijnh/acorn/blob/master/acorn.js
escodegen.browser.js from here
https://github.com/Constellation/escodegen/blob/0.0.27/escodegen.browser.js
ran both of those through our minifier.
escodegen.generate(acorn.parse('/foo/;')) === '/foo/;'
