I just verified that this bug still occurs on FF35.
No mitigation is possible without a rewrite, but it is also moderately
unlikely for this bug to cause a vulnerability. Ideally, we should provide
or extend a lint tool to detect code that might trigger this bug.
I'm closing this as WontFix.
I see no reason for it to be private, so I'm disclosing it.
(Strange that I can both close and disclose without inconsistency ;) )
