Hi!
I've recently become a part-time webmaster. I had a basic
understanding of HTML, CSS and some basic C++ experience. In about 2-4
hours worth of tinkering and reading the groups I was able to build a
Google Maps mashup which shows an area of town, puts markers on it, and
pops up the infowindow from an HTML link in the page (rather than
clicking on the marker).

I was hoping that the Calendar API would be capable of a similar kind
of HTML/JAVA script interface. To me that's the real power of the Maps
API - it's pretty easily accessible to those of use who don't have a
lot of web-based programming experience.

In addition - I saw some comments regarding allowing 'anonymous' users
to add events to the calendar. I would love to see this ability added
to the interface. Even better would be to allow the calendar owner to
'moderate' the events. In other words the interface could have an
option to send an e-mail to the calendar owner, and the owner could
either reply to the e-mail or go to the Google Calendar page, see the
event listed 'tentatively' - but not publically - until the owner had
approved the addition of the event.

Thanks,
Rich
