I verifed that very similiar code runs fine on my systems. Now, i need to see what is actually gettting send over the wire. For that purpose, there is a utility (free), called Fiddler, http://www.fiddlertool.com/fiddler/

Download this. After installation, start it. Then start your program. Do whatever you need to do to encounter the problem. In Fiddler you should then be able to find the HTTP exchange for the POST of the new entry.

I like to see the data that was send over the wire, and the resonse.
