Try the following:

Post a new entry to your feed
This entry will contain a gd:originalEvent which id of the recurring
event and original start time(gd:when inside the gd:originalEvent) to
the instance you want to delete.
the rest should be the same as the recurring event, just mark status
as cancelled.

This should do the work.
