Thank you Kyle, looks very promising, but not exactly what I was
looking for. The future events was just an example.

I thought  the "singleevents" parameter might be what I want, but all
this does is expand the occurrences to entries, instead of sending
multiple gd:when elements. This does actually help me, but I need
something to NOT return occurrences, only the base events. I can filter
them out by hand, but that still leaves a lot of unneeded data
transfer.
