import com.google.gdata.data.calendar.*;
[You have client.calendar.*, but not data.calendar.*]

Thanks for the reply. What you've posted sounds very promising. My only
problem now is that for some reason my compiler isn't recognising the
CalendarEventFeed class :/
These are my imports:
import com.google.gdata.client.*;
import com.google.gdata.client.calendar.*;
import com.google.gdata.data.*;
import com.google.gdata.data.extensions.*;
import com.google.gdata.util.*;
import java.net.*;
import java.io.*;
import java.lang.*;
import java.util.*;
I realise that this question is somewhat n00bist however I honestly
can't see why it wouldn't recognise something that blatantly it should.
