You probably don't want to hear this :), but there's a typo in the
service name. The service name for calendar is the letter c followed
by the letter l. You're currently specifying the letter c followed by
the number 1.

The full e-mail address (including the @gmail.com) should actually work
fine when authenticating with ClientLogin. Let me know if you have any
problems with that.
