A couple of months ago I asked if batch operations were supported by the Google Calendar API (http://groups.google.com/group/google-calendar-help-dataapi/msg/cf04b73d95e85fcb) and was answered that no, they're not.
After working with the API for a couple of months, I've come to believe even more strongly such such batch operations would be a huge win for people writing apps against the API.
