Thanks to you all for investigating this. I've passed along your findings and we're looking into the time zone issue. I combined the information from http://groups.google.com/group/google-calendar-help-dataapi/browse_thread/thread/d48ff1a9ef876fe2 and http://groups.google.com/group/google-calendar-help-dataapi/browse_thread/thread/7bc24e85717c5899 because it seems that the issues in these threads are related.
