Hi everyone,

I'm pleased to announce the newest member of our family of client
libraries -- in Python. The new client library includes full support
for accessing the Google Calendar data API.

For more information on the Python client library (or to download it),
please see the site on Google's code.google.com project hosting
service:
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-python-client/

If you're interested in contributing to the client library, there is a
contributors' discussion group:
http://groups.google.com/group/gdata-python-client-library-contributors

The official announcement on the Google Data APIs blog is located at:
http://googledataapis.blogspot.com/2007/03/snakes-on-gdata-announcing-python.html

There is a detailed sample for using the Python client library with
the Calendar data API available in the distribution, in SVN, and also
through your web browser:
http://gdata-python-client.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/samples/calendar/calendarExample.py

Please post here if you have any questions or comments, or would like
to shout out about all the wonderful projects you're building using
this new client library!

Happy Coding,

-Ryan
