Hi all, perhaps what I need is just to confirm my observation. I'm using XML API from Cocoa (not as important).
I have an event in my cal, I have an XML entry for it, I add a recurrence rule to my XML and then I PUT back to proper edit URL (I'm quite sure...) what I get back is '400 conflict'. The same I see if my event is recurrent and I try tu PUT it back w/o the recurrence. It looks like there is an unspoken rule 'once recurrent always recurrent' and that a vanilla event can be turned into recurrent with Google UI only. It is right?
