Well, it was live for a short amount of time :)

Redirecting to SSL connections was one of the new features that was
rolled back today.  This will be available as soon as possible.

Note that this change will only affect domains that require SSL
connections.  If you send a request to the normal HTTP endpoint you
will be redirected to the SSL endpoint.
