Hi Charlie, There are a number of changes with regard to reminders in the upcoming release, a few of which have to do with how default reminder settings work. I want to give everyone a heads up on the upcoming changes, so here's the reminders rundown:
- Reminders are now available on non-primary calendars! - Default reminders can be set per calendar rather than just per user (via the UI only). - If you add a reminder element with no attributes the event will use the calendar's default reminder settings. - Each event can have up to 5 reminders. - You can set a method (all, none, email, sms, alert) for each reminder. I'll post a more thourough announcement when the functionality and documentation are available. If I forget, please send me a reminder ;-) -Lane On May 4, 5:00 am, Charlie Wood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Is there any way to use the API to create an event that inherits its > parent calendar's default reminder settings? > > In this message: > > <http://groups.google.com/group/google-calendar-help-dataapi/ > browse_frm/thread/bd0ee9b9d5e2db83/5affaeea6ce37200?lnk=gst&q=default > +reminder&rnum=4#5affaeea6ce37200> > > Ryan said: > > > There is not currently a way to get the default reminder.
