I'm getting a similar problem but not sure if its the same bug. I set a recurring appointment on an event with no duration e.g. start time = 12pm endtime = 12pm. So enter the duration in the recurrence rule as 0s.
However when it is displayed in Google Calendar it has a 1 hour duration 12pm to 1pm. Not a life destroying problem but if it is the same bug as above and it will be fixed in the next release that would be a bonus.
