Hi Hugo,

You are correct that using the Person class to set the author on
events has no effect.  I'm working to remove these references from the
docs since they're confusing.

Since the server basically ignores author (and contributor) updates,
the Person class is currently just a container for information
returned from the server.  However, in the future there may be more
uses for this class in Calendar or other Google data services.
