----- Original Message ---- From: Kulvinder Singh <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Google API <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2007 4:24:28 PM Subject: What is Google Calendar Event ID Format Hi, One of my events in Google Calendar has an ID in the format (I saw this in private-magicCookie XML Feed): http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/<MyGoogleID>/private/full/<some encrypted value>/63293791118 As per Google API guide : EventId is of the format : The URI of a representation of a specific Calendar entry (with a given event ID) takes the following form: http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/userID/visibility/projection/eventID This means that the Event's ID is <some encrypted value>/63293791118 Can you please tell me what does the numerical value 63293791118 at the end means ? Is this refers to some instance of a Recurring event or what ? In many cases, i have seen that in general the EventID is of the form http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/<MyGoogleID>/private/full/<some encrypted value> only and the numerical value is not present. So is there any specific kind of events where there is such kind of distinction ? I may be wrong somewhere. Kindly respond.
