Hi Jessica,

The CalendarEventEntry class has a property called sendNotifications
that is set to false by default, but if you set it to true you will
get the email notifications you're looking for.  Try this:

CalendarEventEntry myEntry = new CalendarEventEntry();
EventWho guest=new EventWho();

guest.setEmail("[EMAIL PROTECTED]");

guest.setValueString("John Doe");
myEntry.addParticipant(guest);
myEntry.setSendEventNotifications(true);

Note that you'll need to use CalendarEventEntry (instead of
EventEntry) and EventWho (instead of Who).
