FYI - the 409 vs 500 issue is being tracked here:

I'm going to close the bug about the typos because
a) The misspelling of 'Connection' is intentional.  Try a Google
search of "Cneonction" for more information.
b) cancelled/canceled seems to be a matter of preference and the error
message is pretty clear either way.
