It's possible, but only under these conditions:
1. The calendar is publicly readable, or
2. You can obtain the magic-cookie URL for the calendar
In other words, you can only access calendars which don't require
authentication.
There isn't a guide per se, but there is a code snippet in the GME Tag
Reference which demonstrates how to work with calendars:
