Hi Everyone,

Today is a big day for GData - and even bigger for Google Calendar
developers. Gone are the days of only reading public calendar data
via JSON feeds. The new GData client library supports read/write
access to public and private calendars, with a convenient data model
to boot. For me details on the release, see the announcement on the
Google Data blog:
http://googledataapis.blogspot.com/2007/09/calendar-mashups-anyone.html

If you're ready to start coding, there's a new tab in the Developer's
Guide with code snippets and explanations to get you up to speed
quickly:
http://code.google.com/apis/calendar/developers_guide_js.html

We also wrote some simple apps to showcase some of the capabilities of
the library:
http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/samples.html

As always, this forum is a great place to discuss the new library and
we can help each other build great calendar mashups.

Happy coding,
Lane
