Hi all I published a .ics calendar on one server and added it to my Google Calendar. When I modified this iCal, will Google Calendar be aware of the changes? How often will Google crawl a public iCal calendar?
So what if I am publishing hundres or thousands of iCal calendars for many Google Calendar users, will Google make too much pressure on my server? In fact I am planning a project that transfer my school official website's course schedule to Google Calendar, and it's a personalized service for students. I wanna to build a iCal provider on a third- party server, and every student could add their course schedule to their own Google Calendar. Also students could share infomations like "Who went to the same class with me?" Is publishing iCal a good idea? Do I have to use GData API ? Any information is appreciated, thank you! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Calendar Data API" group.
