Why are you doing this:

>  var startDateTime = new google.gdata.DateTime('2008-04-01');
>  var endDateTime = new google.gdata.DateTime('2008-07-30');

but not using the results here:

>  query.setMinimumStartTime('2008-04-01');
>  query.setMaximumStartTime('2008-07-30');

like this:

  query.setMinimumStartTime(startDateTime);
  query.setMaximumStartTime(endDateTime);
