I'm experiencing this with my 4 synced calendars as well, for the
first time after several months of problem-free syncing. I assume
there's some issue in whatever Google's done to convert CalDAV support
from being a beta feature to something they actually promote. Are the
servers getting hammered by new users, or is there some bug? How
widespread is this?

I tried removing the accounts from iCal and then using the new
Calaboration tool to re-add them, but the problem is unchanged.
Practically every time iCal syncs, at least one of the calendars will
have an authentication failure and ask me to re-enter the password.
Extremely annoying.
