It would be a bug. RFC 4287 says, 4.2.6. The "atom:id" Element The "atom:id" element conveys a permanent, universally unique identifier for an entry or feed. That said, I've never seen it happen. Perhaps you could be more specific about what the ID of your event is and how you are modifying it through the UI?
