Hello everybody,
We have a new Calendar Data API release for you all. The changelog is
below. We've also updated the protocol and reference guides to include
the new elements.

Important: The settings feed described below is experimental (and
should be labeled as such on code.google.com -- I'm working on
correcting this now...), so it may change in future API releases.

Calendar Data API Release 2009-02
Date: March 5, 2009
Description:

This release adds the following new features:

   - Issue 920: Added a read-only user preferences feed.

   - Inline comments can be removed from the composite event feed by setting
     the showinlinecomments=false query parameter.
   - Added support for setting the "guests can invite other guests", "guests
can add self as attendee", and "guests can see other guests" flags on an
event via the gCal:guestsCanModify, gCal:guestsCanInviteOthers, and
     gCal:guestsCanSeeGuests elements, respectively.

This release fixes the following bugs:

   - Issue 296: Recurring events can now be converted into single-instance
events by removing their gd:recurrence rule. Additionally, the event's ID
no longer changes when doing so.
