I can't really understand why the suggested procedure to delete and update entries discussed in http://code.google.com/apis/calendar/docs/2.0/developers_guide_dotnet.html doesn't work in IronPython i.e calling Delete or Update in an instance of EventEntry. Anyway, I figure it out that calling Delete or Update in an instance of CalendarService will do the job.
